The tensions between Daniel Garcia and MJF has reached a boiling point as Garcia continues to express his contempt for the former AEW World Champion.
The rivalry, which started at AEW Dynamite: Beach Break in July, has transformed into an intensely personal feud with no signs of resolution.
It all kicked off when MJF betrayed Garcia and injured him, causing the former ROH Pure Champion to be taken out on a stretcher.
Garcia was absent from television for several weeks but made a surprise return at AEW All In London 2024, where he interfered in MJF’s AEW International Championship match against Will Ospreay.
While MJF managed to defeat Garcia at AEW All Out 2024, the latter had the final word, sending The Salt of the Earth away on a stretcher in a brutal act of retaliation.
During a recent appearance on Renee Paquette’s “Up Close” podcast, Garcia shared his candid opinion on MJF.
He said, “I think Max puts everybody through everything, mentally. Dealing with him is the hardest thing ever. I think he’s a snake. He’s a terrible person. Honestly, I wish him nothing but the worst in his entire life. He is somebody who, if he dropped dead tomorrow, I don’t think a single person in this company would care.”
MJF briefly redirected his focus back to Garcia, but the return of Adam Cole at AEW WrestleDream 2024 has shifted his focus.
