Daniel Garcia is facing a crucial decision regarding his wrestling career since he has yet to sign a new contract with AEW. This leaves the possibility open for him to move to WWE.

Despite being part of major storyline developments at All In London 2024 and a match at All Out 2024 against MJF, Garcia’s future at AEW remains uncertain.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Garcia was initially planned to win his match against MJF at AEW All Out 2024. However, since he had not signed a new contract before the event, it was decided that MJF would emerge victorious instead.

The report states, “Garcia was considered for the win, and that those in AEW say he’s not signed a new deal. Garcia has been offered a new deal, and AEW were hopeful he’d sign it before All Out, which didn’t happen.”

AEW has presented Garcia with a new contract and was hopeful that he would sign it before All Out 2024, but that did not happen.

With Garcia’s current AEW contract expiring in October, there is a belief within Tony Khan’s company that WWE may be interested in signing him.

Pwinsider has confirmed the timeline of Garcia’s contract, while Fightful noted that at least one “top talent” in AEW believed during the summer that Garcia would ultimately stay with the company.

The report states, “One top talent had been under the impression this Summer that Garcia was staying, but that is far from a guarantee. AEW believes that WWE has interest in Garcia, but we’ve not heard if any contact has been made as of yet. “

However, as of mid-September, Garcia’s future with AEW remains uncertain.
