Dax Harwood took to Twitter on Monday to announce that he’s currently out of action with an injury that he suffered several months ago at the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view event.
Harwood revealed that he suffered the injury when giving Matt Jackson a piledriver in the match. He went on to say that he didn’t tell AEW’s medical staff or executives because he wanted to attempt to work through it.
Harwood apologized to the AEW staff for not being more up front with the matter. He also stated that he has severe hematoma on his back and said he believed FTR was riding a momentum high and didn’t want to take himself and Cash Wheeler off the road.
Following an X-ray, AEW’s Doc Sampson immediately took him off the road.
We send our best wishes to Dax Harwood for a quick and full recovery.
An explanation that I feel I owe everyone. The fans, my boss, the medical team, and the whole roster.
I appreciate you all, and I hope to see you soon.
