Dustin Rhodes took to Twitter over the weekend to praise Swerve Strickland, calling the reigning AEW World Champion a “generational talent.” He wrote,
“From 1st hand experience, @swerveconfident is in a different category. A generational talent who is as tough as they come. #HouseCall ain’t no joke…..it will rattle your brains like scrambled eggs. @roderickstrong is also a man of strict work ethic, who is himself a force. With his ability to tie you up in a knot….I’d say we are getting a PPV caliber matchup Wednesday on #AEWDynamite #RoddyVsSwerve #WorkHorseChampion”

Rob Van Dam says Mark Henry is a “really good guy” and is proud to call him a friend.
Speaking on a recent edition of his “1 Of A Kind” podcast, the Whole F’n Show praised the former AEW and WWE wrestler. He said,
“He’s a really good guy. He’s always been super cool to me and he’s very nice. He’s always been like a fan, been very complimentary of me. He mostly, I think when I’m with him we’re mostly laughing, like I’m trying to make him laugh or he’s telling stories or he’s yeah talking about something that happened with me before and it’s making him laugh.”
He continued, “But he’s a good guy and usually when I’m around him, it’s funny, you know he’s laughing doing his belly laugh and he’s someone that I definitely consider a friend — someone on my side for sure.”
And finally, the KOPW Championship will be on the line at NJPW Dominion this coming weekend.
Yuya Uemura will defend his championship against Great-O-Khan at the June 9th show in a Storm Catch Rules Match.
You can check out the official rules for the match below:
“The match will be contested under Storm Catch Rules. A 15 minute time limit is in place, and each competitor has two rope breaks, after which breaking at the ropes or leaving the ring will constitute a disqualification.”
