A simple look from Randy Orton conveys far more than The Young Bucks can in a main event-level match, according to Eric Bischoff.
During a recent appearance on the “Wrestling Shoot Interviews” podcast, Bischoff explained why Orton’s work is worth more than the AEW EVPs. He said,
“[Randy Orton is] One of the best. He is so phenomenal, and it’s unfortunate that you know, because the average wrestling fan, they’re not looking for the nuances. You know, they don’t even notice them but if you really love the art of professional wrestling, you look at Randy Orton and you realize that you could watch Randy Orton in a 15-minute wrestling match, and Randy Orton can do more with a look than most guys can physically throughout.
“I mean, Randy Orton could accomplish more with a glance than The Young Bucks can in a main event match on a pay-per-view.”
Bischoff has been highly critical of AEW for years and in addition to The Young Bucks, has often questioned the booking style of Tony Khan.
As for Orton, he returned to WWE TV last November after 18 months out of action with a back injury and has been a regular on SmackDown ever since.
Bischoff made a surprise appearance on this week’s episode of WWE NXT and will be a part of next week’s show where he’ll appear in person.
