EVIL has expressed his desire to confront AEW President Tony Khan at the upcoming AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door III pay-per-view event.
In a recent interview with Tokyo Sports, the House of Torture conveyed dissatisfaction regarding Konosuke Takeshita’s upcoming challenge to Jon Moxley for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship Eliminator match at AEW Double or Nothing 2024.
Asserting himself as the “highest authority” in NJPW, EVIL proposed a direct confrontation with Khan in the ring at the June 30th pay-per-view event. He said,
“You’re doing whatever you want, and I’m not going to stand by and watch. Don’t act like you’re an equal to me, the President of an organization that’s not that big. My company and your company are not of the same caliber. You don’t seem to know your place, so I’ll give you a lesson. You can stand in front of me (at Forbidden Door). Next time you won’t be wearing a corset. You and I are on different levels.”
Despite his desire for a “President’s Showdown,” EVIL is not the president of NJPW, as Hiroshi Tanahashi holds that role.
