Bobby Lashley will be a welcome addition to the roster of AEW, according to the promotion’s Director of Business Development Jeff Jarrett.
On a recent edition of his “My World” podcast, Jarrett discussed the possibility of Lashley joining AEW after exiting WWE this year. He said,
“Bobby, in his career, has come a long way, and it goes without saying, I was a huge fan of his going way back, the TNA days, we’ll call it the Impact/Anthem days, and certainly today.
“But, man, he would be a fantastic addition, I’ll say that. Super athletic, looks great, carries himself like a champion, and from bell to bell, he can get it done.”
Lashley’s profile was removed from WWE.com earlier this year, fueling speculation that he would be leaving the company after a six-year run.
On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, MVP debuted and showed interest in becoming the manager of Swerve Strickland.
It’s been reported that Lashley and MVP intend to reunite in AEW with MVP’s business card handed to Prince Nana referencing the ‘Hurt Syndicate.’
