WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross underwent successful cancer surgery on Thursday.
The AEW commentator took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon to announce that he underwent the surgery on his right hip. He wrote,
“Had cancer surgery this morning on my right hip.
All went well.
Thanks for all your love & support!”
Ross’ current contract with All Elite Wrestling expires on February 14th. He’s been very open about wanting to re-sign so he can “finish up his career in AEW.”
