Jim Ross Wants To See Adam Copeland And Christian Cage Reunite In AEW

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage may have been bitter rivals in AEW, but Jim Ross would love to see the pair reform their popular tag team.

Copeland debuted in AEW in October 2023 and immediately feuded with Cage, winning the TNT Championship twice from his former ally.

On a recent edition of his “Grilling JR” podcast, Ross was asked about the two Canadians burying the hatchet and reuniting in AEW. He said,

“Yeah, there’s always a chance. I would be for it because I know their natural chemistry is amazing.

I’ve seen them at their best, and tags at this stage of their career, not a bad idea. If you want to put some spark and some sizzle in your tag team division, that ain’t a bad way to start.”

Copeland and Cage teamed for years in WWE and are multi-time Tag Team Champions. Their last match as a tag team came in March 2011.

Adam Copeland is currently out of action due to an injury suffered at Double or Nothing while Cage remains a regular on AEW programming.

During the podcast, Ross addressed Vince McMahon’s often-baffling handling of Cage in WWE. Click here to find out more.
