Julia Hart made her in-ring return on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite after having previously returned to television on the December 14th episode of Collision by attacking Jamie Hayter.
Hart had been a key figure in the AEW women’s division before she was sidelined. She had not appeared on AEW television since losing the TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale at Wrestle Dynasty 2024. She later underwent surgery to fix an injury.
In November, it was reported that Hart was expected to return quite soon. AEW also began airing vignettes leading up to her return from injury.
Hart defeated the former AEW Women’s World Champion in a singles match on this week’s episode of Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen.
According to a report from Fightful, “Julia Hart working with Jamie Hayter and beating her has been planned for months, and we’re told Hayter was eager to work with Julia.”
It is unclear if AEW intends to extend the rivalry or if this Wednesday’s showdown was the blowoff match.
