Powerhouse Hobbs isn’t the only wrestler to punch his ticket for AEW Dynamite Maximum Carnage after winning the Casino Gauntlet match, but he does get an opportunity to win the AEW World Championship as he faces Jon Moxley for the title next week.

As far as the Women’s Casino Gauntlet is concerned, we know the first entrant will be Kris Statlander following her victory over Toni Storm and Willow Nightingale on tonight’s episode of Dynamite, scoring the pin on Storm, who claimed afterward in a post-match interview that it can’t be Toni Time all the time and she must just not be ready for that kind of spot.

Another big match taking place at Maximum Carnage will be Kenny Omega’s AEW in-ring return (unless you count Wrestle Dynasty, wherein he defeated Gabe Kidd). After not stepping between the ropes for All Elite Wrestling since his win over Ethan Page on the December 5, 2023 edition of AEW Collision, Omega will face Brian Cage as a result of The Don Callis Family attacking The Cleaner during his promo in tonight’s main event before he was saved by Will Ospreay.

It was also announced that HOOK will have his opportunity to get revenge on Christian Cage for The Patriarchy’s attack on Taz several months ago.
But before next week’s Dynamite, we still have this Saturday’s edition of AEW Collision, which will feature The Rated-R Superstar Cope against The Learning Tree’s Big Bill, while Chris Jericho will face Dax Harwood of FTR.
