New AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita is pleased to be a part of professional wrestling, which he considers the best sport.
Speaking after the recent AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view event, Takeshita had high praise for the industry of professional wrestling. He said,
“I want to say. Wrestling is the best sport. Wrestling is the best, the all-time best. I wanted to wrestle. I wanted to become a pro wrestler.”
Takeshita captured the AEW International Title at WrestleDream 2024 from Will Ospreay in a trios match that also included Ricochet.
The match also saw Kyle Fletcher turn on Will Ospreay and confirm his allegiance to the Don Callis and his ‘family’ stable.
