Kurt Angle’s days in the ring may be a thing of the past, but there’s some AEW stars the Olympian would’ve loved the chance to wrestle with.
On a recent Q&A on his “The Kurt Angle Show” podcast, the Olympian was asked about which wrestlers he’d loved to have worked with in his prime. He said,
“Oh I love Will [Ospreay], yeah, he is another one I would love to work with. Him and Kenny [Omega] had this incredible match I saw, it was unreal and I would have loved to work with both of them, could you imagine a Triple Threat Match with the three of us?”
Angle hasn’t competed since his WrestleMania 35 loss to Baron Corbin. He has said that despite talking to Tony Khan a couple of times, he doesn’t see himself joining AEW.
Ospreay recently lost the AEW International Championship to MJF in a nearly-hour-long war on the 250th episode of AEW Dynamite.
Omega has not wrestled since late 2023 due to a battle with diverticulitis. There is still no word on when fans can expect him back in the ring.
