There were internal claims that Darby Allin was driving in the closing backstage segment of the show. No serious injuries were reported following the event.
Ricky Starks was backstage and reportedly getting along well with everyone. It was noted that his GCW appearance would have needed AEW’s clearance.
Both Danny Cage and Steve Maclin were seen backstage at the show.
Madison Rayne worked as the producer/agent for the Deonna Purrazzo vs. Anna Jay match, which was finalized and added to the card late in the week.
There were plans for The Hurt Syndicate to take over a press conference at WrestleDream in October, but these plans were delayed due to Bobby Lashley’s debut being pushed back.
The Renegade twins were spotted backstage at Full Gear and are expected to return soon.
AEW was reportedly very pleased with the crowd’s reaction to the Costco Guys’ appearance, and there is mutual interest in working together again in the future. Initially, QT Marshall had suggested placing their match in the middle of Zero Hour to keep the momentum, but it was ultimately placed last on the show.
The Rizzler was a popular figure backstage, as many visitors, talent, and staff were eager to take pictures with him.
