During a recent appearance on the “Barstool Rasslin'” podcast, Matt Riddle discussed the nerve damage in his toes, which has left him without sensation.

Riddle mentioned that despite the lack of feeling in his toes, he would still sell an attack in the ring.

He said, Funny story, the toes have no feeling. I got frostbite on them when I was a child, when I was visiting Wisconsin in the winter. I wore some Vans sneakers and played outside all day, and then got some frostbite on the toes and lost feeling on the skin surface. If I break my foot, I’ll feel it. But when I kick, or slap or whatever, nothing. So stomping on the foot, and I fought in the UFC, where people stomped on my foot all the time. I got numb feet, but if we’re in a match and that’s the story, I’ll sell it.”

During a recent appearance on “Wrestle Radio Australia,” Kyle Fletcher discussed maximizing his singles career in AEW while his tag team partner, Mark Davis, was recovering from an injury.

Fletcher is set to compete against Will Ospreay at AEW Full Gear 2024 this Saturday.

Fletcher said, With wrestling, you kind of have to roll with punches a lot of the time and think on your feet. ‘This is working right now, let’s go this way.’ I don’t think a lot of it is up to me. Davis being injured is obviously unfortunate, but I took that opportunity to showcase that I’m just as good on my own, if not better. With what’s happening with Davis now, and me and Will now, only time will kind of tell whether or not we get back on the same page and run the tag division again. I’m not saying I’m against it, we have to work out some of those issues. We would absolutely destroy the tag division, and likewise, I’ve always had big goals in professional wrestling and I want to be a multi-time world champion. If right now is the time to chase that, then now is the time to do it. I don’t think all of that is entirely up to me.”
