AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone has already made a legacy for herself in wrestling, and the CEO has big plans for life outside of the ring.
Writing for The Independent this week, Mone spoke about her future plans and is ready to take various industries by storm. She said,
“I’m going to take every other industry by storm, the same way I did professional wrestling. Music, acting, clothing, make-up, podcasting – you name it, I’m going to take it over.”
Mone has already seen success outside wrestling as she has appeared as Koska Reeves for Disney+ hit Star Wars: The Mandalorian.
While Mone has big plans for outside of wrestling, the TBS Champion who also holds the CMLL Women’s Title, also has some lofty goals for herself in the squared circle. She said,
“I’m going to make sure that women’s wrestling keeps on growing. I’m here to tell the world that we cannot be ignored – we cannot be denied. I’ve helped make room not only for myself, but for every great woman who steps into that ring – and this Sunday at All In, we’re going to show them that we’re here to stay.”
Mone will defend her TBS Championship this weekend at AEW All In: London 2024 against Britt Baker. The match will take place at Wembley Stadium.
