AEW’s composer Mikey Rukus has commented on the “universally hated” new theme song for Collision that was recently introduced to the show.
In addition to a new theme, this week’s episode of AEW Collision saw visual changes to the broadcast inside the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
On Twitter, Rukus responded to the feedback to the new theme that has replaced Elton John’s ‘Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting.’

Rukus is the mind behind several themes used in AEW including tracks used by Kenny Omega, Sting, Eddie Kingston, and Thunder Rosa.
