It has been confirmed that AEW and Ric Flair are no longer working together.
As we reported earlier today here on eWn, The Nature Boy was brought into AEW as part of a storyline involving a gift to Sting from AEW President Tony Khan. He aligned with Sting until his retirement at AEW Revolution 2024.
Fightful Select is reporting that AEW is longer sponsored by Flair’s Wooo! Energy drink. Flair hasn’t appeared on television since AEW Revolution 2024 and isn’t currently factored into any creative plans. Additionally, his name hasn’t been brought up in “quite some time.”
The partnership between AEW and Wooo! Energy has officially ended, and Tony Khan previously announced that the sponsorship deal all but paid for Flair’s past AEW appearances.
