Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) is now All Elite, having debuted for AEW on last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.

In an Instagram post, MVP discussed signing with AEW and hinted that it could be “the final chapter” of his career.

MVP said, Cat’s out of the bag. By now, I’m sure, many of you know and if you don’t, you’re about to find out that I’ve embarked on an exciting new chapter in my professional wrestling career. And I’m excited because this new chapter is quite possibly the final chapter. I’ve got some really cool things in store. So if you’ve been a fan of mine for this long, come hang out for just a little bit longer. Same MVP, just conducting business in a new location. MVP is AEW. See you next week.

Wardlow has not appeared on AEW TV since March, and as per Matt Taven, this is because of a knee injury.

In a recent appearance on the “Stick To Wrestling” podcast, Taven provided an update on his Undisputed Kingdom teammate.

Taven said,Wardlow’s out with a knee injury. As a guy with plenty of knee injuries in the past, they can be tricky, you know what I mean? You start to think they’re one thing, and then you think they’re another, and then you think, oh, I can get away with doing this or that and then it seems to be more serious. I think he’s just trying to figure out what the best kind of treatment plan is to get back on track with that knee.”
