The fourth annual AEW Grand Slam event will be held on September 25 at Arthur Ashe Stadium in the Queens borough of New York City.
The event will be divided into two parts and televised as special episodes of AEW’s weekly TV shows, Wednesday Night Dynamite and Saturday Night Collision.
The September 11th episode of Dynamite saw several matches added to the AEW Grand Slam lineup. The special event will feature AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson facing off against his long-time rival, Nigel McGuinness.
There will also be a singles match between Darby Allin and Jon Moxley, with Allin’s guaranteed AEW World Title shot on the line.
Moreover, Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher will challenge The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Titles after winning the Casino Gauntlet Match.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that there’s a possibility of another title match being added to AEW Grand Slam.
The report suggests that HOOK might defend his FTW Championship against Roderick Strong, given their brewing rivalry and HOOK’s backstage promo segment on Dynamite.
