Mercedes Mone is set to return to the ring soon.
Mone has not been announced as signed with AEW yet, but it will be happening sooner rather than later.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that AEW is planning to make a “big deal” out of Mone’s debut for the company.
AEW had reportedly been planning to announce Mone’s signing this past Wednesday, or possibly allude to it, but it was pushed back.
The reason AEW did not announce it on Wednesday was due to all the other news stories out there, and the apprehension that people wouldn’t focus on it.
While AEW President Tony Khan has a “big announcement” for next Wednesday’s Dynamite, it remains to be seen if that will be Mone.
