AEW hosted a live Dynamite episode in Buffalo, NY, before taping Collision on Wednesday night. The episode featured a returning talent in a dark match.
EJ Nduka, a former college football player and bodybuilder previously known as Ezra Judge in WWE NXT, participated in the dark match.
Following his departure from WWE, Nduka successfully revitalized his career in MLW, clinching the Tag Team Championships.
Nduka made his AEW debut on Dark, facing Konosuke Takeshita on January 28, 2023. The match led to AEW offering him a full-time contract.
Despite garnering interest from various wrestling promotions, including WWE and those in Japan, Nduka ultimately chose to sign a full-time deal with AEW.
Subsequently, he participated in a pre-Collision match in September and wrestled in two other AEW matches.
Nduka most recently wrestled at BRCW March Madhouse 2024 this past March, where he triumphed over Marcus Mathers in a singles contest.
