As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, Malakai Black will be finishing up with All Elite Wrestling in the near future.
Several sources within AEW have said that there have been no discussions about Black making any final appearances for the promotion. He will likely remain off television until his contract expires.
Pwinsider is reporting that Black’s AEW contract is believed to end in February or March. If that were true, this would make him ineligible for a surprise return in the men’s WWE Royal Rumble match, which takes place on February 1.
With that being said, Black is pretty much a lock to return to WWE once he is legally free to do so.
If he returns, the belief is that he’ll be using the Aleister Black name.
