Britt Baker’s days on AEW programming may have already come to an end as it’s reported that Tony Khan is “fed up” with the former champion.
PWTorch’s Wade Keller is reporting that Khan is annoyed by Baker so much that he will focus his TV time on others and leave the DMD on the sidelines.
One source reportedly stated that nobody wants Baker to come back to programming. The report adds that the issue with MJF hasn’t helped Baker.
PW Torch adds that a “specific situation recently” that was not the issue with MJF led to people within AEW not wanting her back.
Baker is “wildly unpopular in the women’s locker room,” the report adds, and is said to be territorial about her position in AEW’s women’s division.
Baker’s absence shouldn’t be seen as anything to do with Adam Cole. The pair had been a couple for years before splitting in 2024.
Baker has not wrestled since November 13, 2024, when she faced Penelope Ford on AEW Dynamite. She was confronted by Serena Deeb after the match.
Last month, Baker explained her absence in a video on DDP’s YouTube channel, saying that she was busy “filming some fun stuff.”
