Ricky Starks has addressed reports of his arrest with a social media post.
There have been rumors circulating regarding an alleged arrest in Canada last year, which purportedly caused complications between Starks and AEW.
According to unverified claims on a Reddit post, it was suggested that Starks was apprehended following an inebriated altercation in Calgary after his victory in the Owen Hart Cup. Additionally, Starks was said to have declined potential creative pitches.
In response to these speculations, Starks shared a picture on his Instagram story, featuring himself standing alongside a police car, with the accompanying song “Sound of da Police” by KRS-One, seemingly in jest with the arrest rumors.
It was previously reported that the arrest rumors are baseless, as both AEW and Starks refuted the allegations.
Starks has been absent from AEW TV following the March 30th episode of AEW Collision.
