ROH World Television Title Match Added To AEW WrestleDream’s ‘Zero Hour’ Pre-Show

A new match has been added to the card for AEW WrestleDream 2024 — specifically the Zero Hour pre-show — as it was announced on Ring of Honor’s Twitter account that Atlantis Jr. will defend the ROH World Television Championship against Brian Cage.

Cage has had success in Ring of Honor as a two-time ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion, but has never won any singles gold in the promotion (nor in All Elite Wrestling outside of the unrecognized FTW Championship, which he was simply awarded by Taz, as opposed to something he outright won).

Atlantis Jr., meanwhile, is currently in his first run with the title at 98 days and counting, having won the belt at CMLL Super Viernes on June 28th.

This brings the current lineup for the AEW WrestleDream 2024 pay-per-view event to the following announced matches:

  • AEW World Championship Match: Bryan Danielson (c) vs. Jon Moxley
  • Open Challenge: Darby Allin vs. TBA
  • ROH World Championship Match: Mark Briscoe (c) vs. Chris Jericho
  • AEW TNT Championship Match: Jack Perry (c) vs. Katsuyori Shibata
  • Three-Way Match For The AEW International Championship: Will Ospreay (c) vs. Ricochet vs. Konosuke Takeshita
  • [Zero Hour] ROH World Television Championship Match: Atlantis Jr. (c) vs. Brian Cage
