According to a report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW wrestler RUSH will not be part of the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 pay-per-view event due to the participation of a CMLL wrestler on the card.
Specifically, former AEW World Champion MJF will compete against CMLL talent Hechicero at the event later this month.
The Mexican Bull faced MJF in a commercial-free match on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which the latter emerged victorious from earlier this week.
AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 will take place on Sunday, June 30, at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.
