In a recent interview with Renee Paquette, AEW wrestler Christopher Daniels talked about providing guidance to emerging talents and how the industry has evolved significantly since his early years.

You can check out some highlights from the interview below:

On if he’d break into wrestling today: “I feel like I sort of understand that if ‘Christopher Daniels’ was just breaking into professional wrestling today, I don’t know if I’d have the same success as I have now.”

On the advice he tries to give younger wrestlers: “A lot of the stuff that I would tell younger guys probably -– might be outdated, right? But also, too, like I recognized the things that always worked in professional wrestling, I try to pass those things on.”

NJPW wrestler Shota Umino has unfortunately been forced to withdraw from ‘NJPW Soul’ due to an injury.

Taking to Twitter, Umino revealed that he sustained a hip fracture and a strained disc in his back. He expressed his hope to recover in time for the upcoming G1 Climax.

The NJPW G1 Climax 34 tournament will commence on July 20. Umino was originally slated to participate in the A Block for the round-robin competition.
