During the opening segment of this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Skye Blue crashed Mercedes Mone’s TBS Championship Celebration.
As Mone was celebrating her TBS Championship win at Double or Nothing 2024 over Willow Nightingale, Blue revealed that she was the one who attacked Mone during her backstage segment on the April 10th episode of Dynamite.
Blue then attacked Mone, with the two facing off later in the night. Mone picked up the win during the match.

Also on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, a video package aired that teased the arrival of NJPW Strong Women’s Champion, CMLL World Women’s Champion & CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champion Stephanie Vaquer.
Later in the show, Vaquer actually made her debut following Mercedes Mone’s first TBS Championship defense against Skye Blue.
It appears that Vaquer vs. Mone will be taking place at the upcoming AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view event.
