Swerve Strickland could soon be the subject of a major documentary if a recent pitch to executives with Warner Bros. proves to be successful.

In June, it was reported by Deadline that Strickland was working on the project with Kenny Lucas and Keith Lucas, alongside Flash Garments.

Garments is a music producer who is best known to wrestling fans for his work on “Big Pressure,” which is Swerve’s theme song.

On a recent edition of the “No Contest Wrestling” podcast, Swerve said the documentary began shooting around Worlds End last year. He stated,

“This week, we ended up meeting with Warner Brothers and pitching it. Things are looking very very good. We have award winners like the Lucas Brothers, that name holds a lot of weight. He was like, ‘I’ve done a lot of pitch meetings in Hollywood, it never goes this smooth.’ Things are opening up.”

Swerve added that there is still more to shoot with the documentary. Strickland returned to AEW programming earlier this month at WrestleDream.
