Trevor Lee (Cameron Grimes) was released from his contract this past April after a 5-year tenure with the company.
Lee’s release shocked many within WWE, considering his impressive skill set and track record.
Lee, whose no-compete clause expires on July 21, will appear at Elevation Pro Wrestling’s Homecoming show on July 27 in Lexington, North Carolina.
Lee announced on Twitter, “One week until I’m a Free agent.”
AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland took note of Lee becoming a free agent.
