During a recent appearance on the “WrestleBinge” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long shared his thoughts on AEW, noting that he sometimes tunes in to follow The Hurt Syndicate.
Teddy said, “I got nothing against them. Sometimes, I get a chance, I peep at them to see what they’re doing, specially since MVP and Shelton Benjamin and those guys. I kinda like and see what they are doing. I’m not totally out with them, I just didn’t like some comments that they made about me.”
The Hurt Syndicate are currently feuding with Swerve Strickland.
Big Boom AJ Befumo of the Costco Guys will face QT Marshall at AEW Full Gear 2024 but is open to wrestling more than one match.
AJ is currently contracted to wrestle a single match for AEW during the Zero Hour pre-show of Full Gear 2024.
During a recent appearance on the “Battleground” podcast, AJ noted that the door is open for more AEW matches in the future.
He said, “I think there’s gonna be more [laughs]. Things have to line up and hey, the audience has to want more. Let’s start with that. What I do promise you is I’m bringing the booms that the audience is going to want more. I will be bringing the boom, I will have this audience wanting more and then we’ll start from there. You know what, if the audience wants more, I absolutely love the way AEW has handled everything to this point. It would be an honor do more matches with AEW. We are very busy with the other stuff we’re doing with social media, so everything has to line up, but the door is definitely open.”
