Fightful Select has shared an update regarding the 2025 AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view event.
AEW usually hosts the event in Las Vegas, Nevada, where the pay-per-view event has taken place in 2019 and from 2022 to 2024. However, there could be a change in 2025.
According to the report, AEW has discussed hosting Double Or Nothing outside of Las Vegas. The fact that WrestleMania 41 will be held in the same area the month prior is believed to have influenced AEW’s decision-making.
Furthermore, it is not likely that AEW will reveal its complete schedule of pay-per-view dates for the upcoming year, unlike last year.
AEW is reportedly choosing to withhold its 2025 schedule due to worries about WWE potentially hosting competing events at the same time.
Moreover, Peacock lists WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XL on July 12, coinciding with AEW All In Texas 2025. Additionally, WWE’s decision to hold a rival live event in Orlando, Florida, on the same night as AEW Worlds End 2024, has been cited as another reason AEW is delaying the announcement of its major events this year.
AEW has yet to announce the details for Double Or Nothing 2025, which it traditionally hosts in May.
