Paul Wight (The Big Show) returned to the ring on the November 15th episode of AEW Dynamite, where he participated in the Like A Dragon Gaiden Street Fight alongside Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi. Together, the babyfaces emerged victorious against Konosuke Takeshita, Brian Cage, Kyle Fletcher, and Powerhouse Hobbs.

During the match, Wight performed a chokeslam on Fletcher and brawled with Hobbs. The former WWE Superstar was forced out of the match early after being slammed onto the hood of a car by Hobbs.

Wight later teamed with Jericho in January but has yet to compete in a match since then. The 52-year-old wrestler has been absent from AEW television for several months.

Fightful Select has shared an update on Wight’s current standing with AEW. According to the report, Wight is “still technically there.”

Wight’s colleague and former WWE rival, Mark Henry, parted ways with AEW in May after his contract expired.
