The Young Bucks have decided not to give Private Party another shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships, as they mentioned during this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
On Wednesday’s show, Private Party approached The Young Bucks backstage, expressing how close they came to defeating the champions and requesting another title shot.
Matthew Jackson admitted that he was mistaken and acknowledged that Private Party wasn’t merely a mid-card team, but Nicholas interrupted, stating that WrestleDream 2024 was their final shot at the titles.
Later, the champions and their allies from The Elite ridiculed Kenny Omega on his birthday by presenting a cake that referred to Omega’s diverticulitis.
Jack Perry told the absent Omega, “Get well soon or die. I don’t care.”
