On October 4th, 2024, The Young Bucks lost their third AEW Tag Team Championships to Private Party on an episode of Dynamite.
During a recent appearance on the “Tunnel Talk” podcast, Nick Jackson revealed that AEW had discussed the possibility of an “Elite Roulette” match, where a random tag team would be selected to challenge them for the titles.
The Young Bucks also floated the idea of dropping the titles in a squash match to a team. The Outrunners were one of the teams in consideration for this opportunity. At one point, there was even talk that they might win the titles in a surprise fashion, although it ultimately did not come to fruition.
