Thunder Rosa is ready to deliver a new level of violence following her victory in the gruesome Texas Bullrope match on this week’s episode of AEW Collision.
Rosa defeated Deonna Purrazzo in a violent match that saw plenty of blood. In an AEW “Digital Exclusive,” Rosa promised much more to come. She said,
“I’ve been pushed and pushed and pushed the whole entire last year because I didn’t think I would be able to do this again. I got so emotional after the match, not only because I felt every single hit, I felt the blood running and making me blind but I felt I was alive again, I felt like it was me.
“I’m back, Thunder Rosa is back. Are you guys entertained?! Because I am. And this is not the last time you’re gonna see me. You wanna see more violence? You’re gonna get it. You want better wrestling? You’re gonna get it. What you’re not gonna see if someone who has mercy or gonna allow anybody to push them over again. La Mera Mera is back and I’m the winner.”
Rosa is a former AEW Women’s World Champion. Her reign came to an unfortunate end as she had to vacate the gold due to injuries.
AEW Collision also saw Swerve Strickland defeat Tomohiro Ishii while the House of Black vs. Bang Bang Gang match ended in controversy thanks to The Patriarchy.
