Toni Storm has recently issued another challenge to Wendi Richter, urging the former wrestler to step back into the ring.
The initial exchange took place during the AEW Worlds End 2023 press conference last December. Storm was asked about potential free agent signings for AEW, to which she responded, “There is money written all over it. Wendi Richter … I’m going to f**k you up.”
Wendi responded to Storm’s comments during a Highspots Virtual Gimmick Table signing.
She said, “Well, I didn’t even know she had been calling me out. Someone told me she’s been doing it on a regular basis. Well, money does talk. If they can cough up enough money, I’d take her on. I’d even give her the first swing. Bring it, Toni. You think you can beat me? I’d like to see it. I’m not afraid.”
Richter’s lengthy and successful career included championship runs in the AWA and WWE. Her last wrestling match was in 2005, and she was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2010.
During a recent Highspots Sign-it-Live event, the former AEW Women’s World Champion sent a message to Richter.
Storm said, “Yes, so I’ve heard. About bloody time you spoke up Wendi Richter. I will meet you in the squared circle soon enough, you b*tch. I’ll slap your t*ts off.”
