Tony Khan would love to do much more inside New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom following the success of Ring of Honor Final Battle 2024.
The show marked the first ROH event inside the legendary arena since Khan acquired the promotion in early 2022.
Speaking on the ROH Final Battle media scrum, Khan spoke about bringing ROH back to the venue alongside AEW. He said,
“I would love to come back for ROH and I’m excited to debut AEW here on TNT. It would be great to come here again for ROH and AEW. Today was my first time in this building and we’re going to be here all weekend. It’s safe to say we want to come back again.
“This has been a tremendous experience with Ring of Honor at Hammerstein. I would love to come back here. It meant a lot to be here for this event. It was a great tradition for ROH and pro wrestling. It was great for us to come here for the first time and great to celebrate Final Battle here.”
ROH Final Battle 2024 saw six title matches though only the ROH World Television Championship, won by Komander, changed hands.
AEW will hold this week’s Collision on Saturday from the Ballroom and tape AEW Dynamite on Sunday at the venue.
