During a recent edition of his “What Happened When” podcast, AEW broadcaster Tony Schiavone discussed Samantha Irvin’s shocking departure from WWE and why he doesn’t see her joining Tony Khan’s company.
As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, Irvin left WWE to focus on projects and her music career outside of wrestling, and she didn’t leave to go to AEW.

On why Samantha Irvin isn’t coming to AEW: “We already got the best ring announcer in the world with Justin Roberts, and Arkady Aura is a great ring announcer, who’s a great person and is doing a great job. [Samantha Irvin] ain’t coming here. I wouldn’t think. And of course I’ve been wrong so many times but why would we?”
On how he could be wrong and she could show up at Dynamite: “I could show up tonight in Salt Lake City and there she could be.”
