AEW made a major move on the latest episode of Dynamite when The Young Bucks brought up Kenny Omega, leading to Eddie Kingston’s intervention and a chaotic brawl.
Kazuchika Okada, a former NJPW IWGP Champion, aligned with The Young Bucks and attacked Eddie Kingston on last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Okada hinted at a future match by gesturing with the title belt around his waist.
It was revealed that Okada would be joining The Elite. Despite interest from WWE, Okada chose to sign with AEW.
Tokyo Sports is reporting that Okada signed a three-year deal with AEW for about two billion yen, which converts to around $13.5 million United States dollars, meaning Okada will make around $4.5 million U.S. dollars a year. It’s worth noting that these figures have yet to be confirmed.
