As we previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com, Penta El Zero Miedo’s contract with All Elite Wrestling has been set to expire for some time.
In an update from Fightful Select, it is reported that Penta’s contract has already expired, despite initial reports that it would expire next week.
Penta is reportedly a free agent now, able to work and sign with any other promotion. His most recent match for AEW was on a July edition of Rampage.
Penta joined AEW in 2019 alongside Rey Fenix. The pair are former World Tag Team Champions and former Trios Champions with PAC.
It has been reported that AEW has added injury time to Fenix’s contract, keeping him from working with Penta outside of AEW for now.
