Two matches in the 2024 AEW Continental Classic tournament took place on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite to help push along the Gold League’s matches.
Ricochet defeated Brody King and Will Ospreay defeated Claudio Castagnoli, now forcing a three-way tie at the top of the Gold League between Castagnoli, Ricochet and Ospreay. King and Darby Allin remain behind with only 3 points, while Komander is quickly finding himself mathematically disqualified at 0 points.
No matches took place for the Blue League on this episode, so Kyle Fletcher remains the overall leader of the whole tournament with his 9 points, standing above the runner-ups for the Blue League, as Kazuchika Okada and Daniel Garcia are tied with 4 points.
