Vince Russo believes that Darby Allin would be wise to scale back on his risk-taking, as the AEW wrestler won’t exceed in his career if he’s dead.
In and out of the ring, Allin takes risks, which have resulted in the wrestler experiencing multiple breaks from wrestling due to injuries.
On a recent edition of his “The Wrestling Outlaws” podcast, Russo shared his concern for the former AEW TNT Champion. He said,
“I have said this all along with Darby Allin. From what I think, the guy’s jumping off of bridges, the guy’s getting hit by cars, the guy is jumping on glass tables. Okay bro ’till what? Eventually, you die? Then what, Darby? You can’t dial it back. You can’t dial it back when you are dead, bro. It’s too late.”
Allin’s next big stunt will see him attempt to climb Mount Everest. A foot injury prevented Allin from making the climb as planned earlier this year.
Darby Allin shared earlier this month that Sting has tried to talk him out of the climb. Allin intends to start his climb in April of this year.
According to Himalayan databases, over 320 people have died attempting to scale the mountain since records began in 1922.
Climbers who perish are often left there due to the risk of removing the body, a sign of their dedication to climbing, and as a reminder to others of the dangers of nature.
