During a recent appearance on “The Mark Hoke Show,” Wheeler Yuta discussed AEW’s goals, emphasizing the aim of injecting more “passion” into the company as it approaches its sixth year.

Yuta said, I think it’s what we said, it’s bringing back that passion, bringing back that fire. I think most guys have it, but it’s something that we’re sort of on a company-wide mission to do is to build this culture of just going out there and giving it your all every night. I think that we do that, for the most part, but just continuing to build and strengthen that culture where we’re all on the same team. I think it’s something there we’ve been doing, but it’s something that we can always improve on. So I think that continuing to push that forward is something that I hope that we can do.”

During a recent appearance on the “WrestleMobs” podcast, House of Black’s Brody King discussed AEW’s new television deal with Warner Bros. Discovery.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On AEW’s new TV deal: “It’s very validating. It’s very awesome because, you know, like you said, the first half of this year, or first three quarters of this year, you just hear of people saying, ‘AEW’s going to die, ‘you’re never getting a TV deal, blah blah blah,’ and it’s hard not to read those things. It’s like even if, you know, you have all of the facts in front of you being like, ‘No, this is not true,’ either. We can’t speak on it or we don’t know it to be a fact yet, and then once that comes out, it’s like, ‘Well, there it is.’”

On his thoughts on TV ratings: “I don’t have cable TV. I don’t think a lot of my friends have cable TV and they have all said, ‘Well, it’s going to be so much easier to watch now.’ I don’t know how that factors into the ratings or whatever, but obviously, the f**king ratings aren’t the end-all, be-all.”
