During Sunday night’s AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door 2024 pay-per-view event, Swerve Strickland defeated Will Ospreay to retain the AEW World Championship in the main event.
Following his crushing defeat, Ospreay posted a video on Twitter featuring UFC fighter Brandon Moreno who expressed determination to become a champion.
Moreno’s sentiments mirrored Ospreay’s own ambition to eventually claim the AEW World Championship.
