PROGRESS Wrestling has announced that AEW’s Will Ospreay will not participate in their upcoming ‘Unboxing VII’ event scheduled for December 29.

This annual event is known for surprising the fans by featuring popular talents. El Hijo del Vikingo has already been confirmed for the December 29th show.

Ospreay himself stated, “I’m not on Unboxing this year. Surprise!”

Tate Mayfairs remarked that Ospreay is afraid because he still owes him a rematch.

During a recent appearance on the “AEW Unrestricted” podcast, Shelton Benjamin reflected on his AEW debut, noting that he felt “humbled” by the audience’s reaction.

Benjamin is currently competing in the Continental Classic with a record of 4-2 in AEW.

He said, Having done this for so long, I am to this day, any time someone even recognizes me in the street, I’m honestly very flattered. So to have that reaction, especially for the AEW crowd, being quote-unquote former WWE guy, I was humbled, I was overjoyed. I was actually kinda worried about how the reaction would be, but the fans, they’ve stuck by me thick and thin all these years, and it was very heartwarming is the best way I can put it. I really appreciate it, and I loved it, and I could rewatch that moment over and over and over.”

Dustin Rhodes is currently working on a new book, as the veteran AEW talent took to Twitter to announce that he is collaborating with Alex Marvez on his second book.

Rhodes wrote, “Man, just sitting here reminiscing on my career and all the history I have made. This business has been so good to me for so long. Reason I am thinking about it, is because I am writing my second book with
@alexmarvez soon. I truly am rich with stories and passion and just want to express my gratitude to all of you fans who have followed me for so long. Truly has been an incredible journey of a lifetime. True fans make me feel alive. I have loved every place I have worked, but my heart truly is with @AEW . Why? Because at the beginning, my brother and I set the place on fire and one for the ages in which allowed me to find my passion again. Truly grateful! #KeepSteppin”

Rhodes’ first book, Cross Rhodes: Goldust, Out of the Darkness, was published in 2010.
