As we reported earlier this week here on eWn, AJ Styles was injured at a WWE live event in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Styles suffered an ankle injury during an OC vs. Judgment Day six-person mixed tag team match on Tuesday night.
According to a report from Pwinsider, AJ Styles went to Tampa, FL to get his ankle checked out. He was not featured on Thursday night’s WWE live event in Toronto, Canada. Additionally, he was not backstage at the SmackDown TV tapings in Tampa, FL on Friday night.
Dave Bautista, Ric Flair, and Gerald Brisco were all backstage at this week’s WWE SmackDown TV tapings. Flair’s daughter Charlotte returned on this week’s show, defeating Ronda Rousey to capture the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
