WWE released Dolph Ziggler along with over twenty other talents last week, and former MLW World Champion Alexander Hammerstone took to Twitter to praise him.
Hammerstone shared a story about how Ziggler helped several independent wrestlers during the COVID-19 pandemic. He wrote,
“Remember over lockdowns when @HEELZiggler was just anonymously bulk ordering from random indie guys PWTees stores to help em out? When I posted about my house getting robbed during lockdown he unprompted just dropped a generous donation in my PayPal. Dude is a legend all around.”
In a recent interview with USA Today, NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch addressed the possibility of facing WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40.
Lynch and Ripley are yet to cross paths on the main roster, despite wrestling on NXT in 2019. Lynch said,
“Maybe it will be championship for championship, winner takes all. We’ll see.”
