As we reported earlier this week here on eWn, several WWE NXT Superstars were released from the company. One of those names included Imperium’s Alexander Wolfe. The release came after Wolfe was attacked on this week’s NXT broadcast and kicked out of the group.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Wolfe’s WWE NXT contract was set to expire on June 15. With the release, he will have a brief non-compete clause and will be free to wrestle anywhere on June 16. As far as the other talents who were released are concerned, they have non-compete clauses for thirty days and will be free to work wherever they want on June 20. For what it’s worth, NXT non-competes are shorter than main roster non-competes, as the main roster releases include 90 day non compete clauses.
